Emerging Recreation and Tourism Opportunities in a Changing World

Return to Symposia

The Roundtable was co-sponsor of the 2005 Symposium, Emerging Recreation and Tourism Opportunities in a Changing California.  Led by the California Parks Hospitality Association, the purpose of the Symposium was the encouragement of partnerships between State and Local Government agencies, private organizations and representatives from many private companies to better serve the needs of the recreating public.

Held at Asilomar, California, the event was well attended.  Feedback received from the attendees was outstanding and everyone seemed to get something from the Symposium to make it worth attending.  Discussions about a 2006 Symposium will begin in February 2006.
